JASON WOOLFORD SIGNS TAXPAYER PLEDGE

50th District House of Representatives candidate Jason Woolford announced today he signed the “Taxpayer Protection Pledge.”
Woolford, a 52-year-old Howell City resident, claimed the government does not need to raise taxes to run efficiently and effectively; rather, it needs to reduce wasteful spending.
“Our state and federal government wants to raise our taxes and then provide free money, insurance and housing for illegals,” Woolford said. “I will inform both our governor and the Biden Administration that Michigan will no longer be wasting our hard-earned taxpayer’s money.”
Woolford believes true leadership ensures the promotion of a limited government, whereas Michigan’s budget has been raised by $50 BILLION dollars, putting the burden on already over-taxed citizens. He further claims that while families are spending an additional $1,000 monthly to eat, live and drive, lawmakers vote to keep spending and giving money to Chinese companies.
“I just paid my taxes and was reminded of why I needed to take this pledge,” said Woolford. “As the 50th District State Rep., I will fight to restore the American dream, and reduce the budget & the burden on We the People.”
